I have been taking online Japanese lessons from Mimi for about 2 years now and I couldn't be happier! I have definitely seen progress in my ability to speak and hold conversations in Japanese. Mimi is a great converstaion partner!  I admire her curiousity for other cultures and we spent many lessons speaking in Japanese about our cultural differences. Her teaching style is flexible and she can pivot to whatever you want to focus on in learning. She also has a lot of knowledge of different textbooks and can use multiple examples from them in her lessons. She is funny and kind and I look forward to meeting with her every week.

Miyuki Sensei has an exceptional approach to teaching Japanese. I have never felt bored in our classes. She manages to keep it simple, clear and fun. She also makes sure the student understands the material by giving them a little quiz at the end of each chapter. She explains the grammar beautifully and clearly and sometimes gives homework to help the student further understand the material. I love studying Japanese with Miyuki Sensei.
